In Mississippi, February is the month for tree planting, giveaways, educational events and activities to celebrate Arbor Day and Tree Planting Week.

MSWCC requested information about activities taking place, and we have compiled the information for reference. Some SWCDs did not plan activities this year because of the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions. Other SWCDs opt for a yearly tree sale and take orders in advance. The list provided is information compiled from SWCDs responding with the activities planned for tree week. If you have any questions about the events listed, please contact your county SWCD.

If you need assistance with your event(s), please contact your MSWCC Field Representative.
